PortalVideo, Inc. is an application service provider of Internet-based video editing solutions. Our solution was designed by producers for producers and created with the guidance of some of the industry's most respected thought-leaders and technologists, including inventors of the Avid editing family.

Like many groundbreaking tools, PortalVideo was conceived out of great need as recognized by Len Sitomer and Adam Mosston. In 1992, Len founded Portalvideo, LLC, a media consulting firm that provides new-age video communication tools, technologies and strategies to clients in the private equity industry. Adam joined the company in 1999. As producers of interview-based programming, they found that their productivity was limited because of a lack of tools to help them quickly sort through hours of video footage, to easily create a rough cut, and to share the rough cut with clients for feedback. The PortalVideo solution was developed for their own business. They personally experienced how it not only helped them increase their productivity and business output, but their clients loved the collaboration it enabled as well.

In November of 2004, Len and Adam spun out the PortalVideo solution into a separate company known as PortalVideo, Inc. to bring the solution to market. The company's solution has been field tested on hundreds of projects for client companies across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States.
