In 2006, PortalVideo, Inc. was spun out of the original consulting firm to develop software and technology for producers and editors worldwide. Len wanted to accelerate the most time consuming aspect of post-production ž cutting down hours of video interviews into an approved rough cut. He developed a cutting-edge editing solution using transcripts of video interviews, digitally processed over the internet and linked to video with precise time code. This new system delivers rough cut editing online, anytime, and anywhere an internet connection is available.
Starting in 1992, Adam was one of the first adopters of small-format camera technology for network news programming. He was on the forefront of the so-called "Reality Programming" trend by producing first-person "Video Diaries" for ABC News, PBS, Nike and others.
During that same period, Adam also specialized in crisis reporting on subjects including the Terrorism in Peru, the Ebola virus in Zaire, the Oklahoma City bombing, Waco, and many more.
From 1999 to 2008, Adam worked with PortalVideo, LLC, a media-consulting firm that focusses on the private equity industry.
A 1993 Emmy award winner for outstanding achievement in engineering development, Steve Reber was employee #7 at Avid Technology. He was technical lead for versions 1.0 thru 5.0 of Avid Media Composer, version 3.0 of Avid Elastic Reality.
Steve Reber has 7 US patents and one patent pending.
